Irish – I love single malt Irish Whiskey because it usually comes across as a great Scotch, without any of the peat. The barley shines unlike any other Scotch I’ve had. This Connemara adds the peat to the great barley flavor and turns into a really lovely, almost peated, Highland Scotch. It’s great.
