Old Pulteney 12 (B+/A-)

Scotch : Highland – The first impression leaves you with the feeling that you’ve just drank some sea water and chased it with a very mild Scotch. The nose has a fruity character that I can’t quite put my finger on, but it is vaguely cherry. The aftertaste is very sweet and leaves a lovely oil in your mouth that continually reminds you of what you’ve just sampled. Substitutes the peat for sea spray (salt).
