Rye – Tastes old, nostalgic; caramelly, good rye taste, not great. Cheap, but enjoyable.
Fun facts : This is the oldest, continually distilled whiskey name in the US. Overholt survived prohibition because the famous Andrew Mellon, an owner, greased the right pockets and had it labelled as medicine.
H. C. Frick was another one of the owners and he was responsible for the Homestead Massacre and the Johnstown Flood.
