Irish Whiskey – Oh my. This is the most velvety whisky I remember trying. It says it’s a single grain, but uses corn and barley and ages in American oak casks. It’s sweet like a bourbon, like the bottle says, but vaguely tastes like an Irish. I don’t generally like whiskeys over 18, but somehow the Irish pull it off. See Redbreast 21.
