Scotch : Speyside – Very peaty for Balvenie, but not a lot comparatively. It has a weird peanut taste that becomes endearing after a while. A peated Speyside isn’t something I knew I wanted in my life and it’s kind of great. It’s light in heart like a good Speyside, but with the additional peat of an Islay.
