Scotch : Islay – The first smell and taste is of heavy peat, but that gives way to a little bit of that bourbon sweetness they hint at. I don’t get any of the alleged dark chocolate flavor, but I bet it would go great with some. I don’t generally comment on appearance, but this is very, very light. I’ve never seen anything like it.
